It is hoped that the mooted new Ghostbusters movie
is to enter production this winter. Dan Aykroyd has stated that the project is on target to start shooting at the end of the year. Other interesting bits of information include ideas for the new team of Ghostbusters that the film will feature (as the old crew pass on the torch to the new team) will be made up of five people- three guys and two girls. Aykroyd mentions two interesting names for possible stars for female characters: Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku. Dunno about you, but I think Eliza would make a great character in a new Ghostbusters movie. Not sure about Milano, but you never know. How about Janeane Garofalo? That’d be fantastic! Sigourney Weaver is also returning as Peter Venkman/Bill Murray’s love interest, Dana Barrett. More news on this as we have it!!!
