As I said above, and as you can see for yourself, the trailer looks fantastic, and the film is looking more and more promising. We can see now for certain that Sam Worthington’s character is actually a Terminator, and I particularly like the idea that these cyborgs may not always know what they are. Kind of conjours something of the Cylons from the modern version of Battlestar Galactica.
I think this is going to be the film that sees McG gain some respect as a director. Is it my imagination, or is genre cinema finally coming of age?
