TRANSFORMERS 2 TITLE LEAKED?
So the film is underway, the hype is mounting, the rumours are flying thick and fast, but what exactly IS the truth with the new Transformers movie? Here comes the latest morsel, and apparently it is true, the news having also been linked to by producer Don Murphy. So what will the subtitle to the forthcoming GIANT ROBOTS KICKING ALL KINDS OF HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER sequel be? According to these posts, the full title will be:
TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN
Eh? Pardon me, but that sounds more than a little like a video game, or a cheap comic series, or a straight to DVD action flick. Granted, they haven’t just given us ‘TF2’ or something equally annoying, but this title seems more than a little thrown together, a real case of someone shrugging when asked the title and this was the first thing that popped into their head. Personally I’d be perfectly happy just with TRANSFORMERS 2, without a dumb tagline like that.
