STAR TREK: NEW PROMO IMAGES REVEALED
A brand new poster and art style has been unveiled for JJ Abrams’ reboot of the STAR TREK franchise. The teaser poster, which has also been split into four other promo images for the movie, depicts Kirk, Spock, Uhura and an alien character from the forthcoming big screen movie. I do like the minimalist approach of the poster, as well as the look of the film being something akin to the original Star Trek series ‘if all the tech had been made by Apple’. That quote is from Harry Knowles of AICN and it makes perfect sense. If Paramount were going to remain faithful to the original source material, this is the perfect way to do it. Seeing the characters with their trademark uniform colours is a thrill and a tantalising peek at the approach the film is going to take.
